What is an IEM?

Inborn Errors of metabolism (IEM) are individually rare but collectively common. The disorders are characterized by the inability to metabolize certain nutrient which build up in the body and can be toxic.

Nutrition is one of the key factors in the treatment of IEM. Providing maximum nutrients in adequate amount at any stage will not only be helpful in controlling the symptoms but will also be helpful in
